These pieces were my introduction to making functional pieces that can hold sentimental objects in them. At first, it was meant for jewelry, and that became the main reason behind making them, along side other projects that were going on at the time. As sustainability was one of the core things I was taught when introduced to clay, having access clay while working that then turns into reclaim was something I wanted to have the least amount of. So I started making these little tiny beads -that eventually varied in size- while having conversations with collogues in studio. Experimentation with that went on, these beads started to represent these moments and great memories that will always be cherished.
